Sewing a coat!
Updated: Jan 12, 2020
I made a coat! And I have to say I'm super proud because it turned out perfect! I hope you love it as much as I do. I got the opportunity to test this coat pattern, it's called Mariella by Hanna Louise. It took me a good 10-12 hours to sew but it was by far not the most difficult thing I have made.
The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and overall it was pretty easy to sew! Even if you are a beginner and have already made a few things, you can totally make this coat!
I used cheap coating fabric as I didn't know how it would turn out. Next time I would choose a higher quality fabric like wool. I also used a cheap black polyester lining - which looks great!
I made a size 34/XS which fits perfectly! I didn't make any alterations to the pattern.
I'm so happy my coat is finished and I can wear it all winter :)
