Christmas themed Face Mask with FREE pattern
Christmas is around the corner - and if we have to wear face masks, why not make it fun and seasonal. In this blog post I will show you how to sew a really easy holiday themed face mask!
Face Mask Tutorial
Download pattern and cut 2 from main fabric and 2 from lining.

Pin the 2 main fabric pieces with right sides touching.

Sew along the curved edge at 1 cm seam allowance.

Trim seam allowance. Repeat the same steps for lining pieces.

Press on the seams. Pin mask and lining with right sides touching.

Sew along the top and bottom edge at a 1 cm seam allowance. Don't sew the side openings.

Turn the mask to the right side.

Fold the edges of the side openings to the inside to hide the raw edges. Then fold over by 1.5 cm.

Sew a straight line along the folded edge to create a tunnel.

Insert an elastic using a safety pin and tie a knot.

I added a few golden stars to my mask. You can use ribbons, trims, glitter... or just cut a few stars from gold or silver fabric and sew them to your mask!
